Good to know
What does P5 mean?
P5 means 5 mm between LED pixels. Lower numbers are sharper but cost more. Choose by viewing distance: closest viewer (m) should be at least the P number, and the best distance is about 2–3×.
Why do outdoor screens need ≥ 5,000 nits and a light sensor?
Direct sunlight washes out images, so at least 5,000 nits is needed to stay readable. A light sensor dims the screen at night, saving power and avoiding glare.
Front service vs rear service?
Screens mounted flat against a wall need front service (modules removed from the front). If there is a walkway behind the screen, rear service works.
Why a refresh rate of ≥ 3,840 Hz?
High refresh rates prevent lines and flicker when the screen is filmed or photographed with a phone — important for events and live streams.
Why match content to the screen's pixel size?
Each LED screen has its own pixel size, e.g. 1344 × 576. Content made at that exact size stays sharp with no stretching or black bars.
